A man in Maine came outside to find his backyard in “disarray” this week. When he checked his bird feeder’s recorded footage, he found out exactly who messed with his stuff. It was a bear—a bear that wanted sunflower seeds so badly that it tried to steal the man’s bird feeder. The resulting video footage is quite funny.

KVUE reports that the man’s name is Jeff Meissner. Meissner’s video, which KVUE shared to YouTube, shows the bears face and claws up close as it steals a snack from the birdseed tray. There is also footage of the bear’s lower half as it carries the bird feeder across the Meissner’s backyard.

We infer that the bear dropped the bird feeder at some point and didn’t fully steal it, but we’re guessing the bear wrecked it first. KVUE says Meissner has installed extra security in his backyard since the incident.
