Is it adorable? Is it pathetic? Or is it just downright funny? A video of a shaved alpaca has taken the internet by storm, and no one can deny that this poor lollipop deserves to be viral-video famous.

In a video that’s been shared so many times, no one really knows where it came from, you first see an alpaca’s head bobbing from behind some stacked hay bales. The alpaca then walks around the hay bales to reveal its full body—and I do mean its full body. The alpaca is tragically, hilariously shaved (all but its head), leaving nothing to the imagination.
Since the alpaca’s head is still poofy, the alpaca looks like a lollipop. When another alpaca comes alongside the shaved one, it’s hard not to pity the shaved animal.

Alpacas are South American mammals kept domestically all around the world. They’re similar to llamas, except they’re smaller. Smithsonian’s National Zoo describes them as “slender-bodied animals with long legs and necks, small heads and large, pointed ears.”
Notably, people have bred and kept alpacas domestically for thousands of years for their wool. That means that for thousands of years, alpacas have been subjected to looking like lollipops after being sheared. (Admittedly, this one appears shaved, not merely sheared.)
Did you expect this dramatic reveal? We couldn’t help but laugh.
