The Puffy Patch Is A More Attractive Way To Fix Your Gear

Nice. You ripped your favorite jacket. That one that looks great on you. Now what?

If you’re an active person it’s bound to happen. So what do you do? It will look terrible if you cover it up with duct tape. Might was well turn it into a jacket for yard work…

Wait! You have options! There is a new product on the market that was designed by some smart folks in Jackson Hole, WY. It’s called Puffy Patch, and it’s a set of gear repair patches that come in a variety of groovy shapes and sizes. They’re heat activated, and we can tell you from experience that they’re very permanent.

We had a Mountain Hardwear jacket that needed a little TLC. We pressed the patch on, threw it in the dryer, and wallah! The tear was replaced by a cool looking steer. One thing we’ll say is that the patches are very sticky. This is great, but make sure you work them very carefully. Our tear is fixed, but you can see that we didn’t do the best job of closing it. Once that Puffy Patch was on there it wasn’t coming off, so make sure you get it right the first time.
