The Fireside Outdoor Pop Up Fire Pit Is Incredibly Versatile

There are a handful of portable fire pits on the market these days, but most of them fall short. They’re too small to generate enough heat for a group, and frankly, many of them look unsafe to me. One thing I know for sure is that none of them are as versatile as the Fireside Outdoor Pop Up Fire Pit.

I’ve been using the Fireside Outdoor Pop Up Fire Pit for about a year now, and every time I set it up I get questions and comments from onlookers. They’re 1) surprised that it fits into a small carrying case, and 2) can’t believe that it can handle such a large fire.

What I like most about it is how versatile it is. My favorite use has been to let the fire die down a bit, toss the cooking grate on for lunch, and then remove it to get a solid campfire going again. It only weighs 7.8 lbs so I can tote it anywhere. This winter I’m looking forward to a few snowshoe hikes with brats and burgers for lunch in the middle of nowhere. I also used it last winter on several ice fishing trips and it’s absolutely perfect for that.

Last thing I’ll add is that it’s an excellent Leave No Trace option for a campfire. The heat shield is remarkably effective, meaning no scorched ground. Yes, you’ll have to dispose of water soaked coals somewhere, but it’s far better than permanently altering a patch of ground.

If you like campfires and grilling as much as I do, and you’re looking for portable solution, you’re not going to do better than the Fireside Outdoor Pop Up Fire Pit.
