The San Antonio Zoo went to share a post about a baby bird, but instead of spreading cuteness, they unleashed a horror upon the world. (Then they did it again, and the second video is somehow even better—and by better, I really mean decidedly worse.) The zoo innocently captioned a video of a baby bird screaming: “Baby palm cockatoo is getting so big! (And loud) 🥰🐣”

How cute. But then when the audio starts, you wonder what demon they’ve released from the pits of the underworld. The bird’s creepy appearance doesn’t help its demon vibes, either.
Listen to this baby bird screaming:
The video drew a lot of attention from the zoo’s community, with over 42,000 likes.
One person commented: “Nightmare fuel, ngl”
And then, yesterday, the zoo decided to terrorize us again with an even freakier video of the adorable little thing.
Once again, the caption is blissfully innocent. It reads: “Baby palm cockatoo has the cutest little Mohawk! 🥰🐣”
There’s even a hashtag “#cute”. I think they’re playing with us.
Upon diving even deeper, the San Antonio Zoo has left a trail of terrifying videos of this same bird. Here’s a TikTok from the bird’s precious newborn days, viewed nearly 2 million times
Sweet dreams, everyone.
