Overview
Sole Power Shoe Insoles were created through a Carnegie Mellon graduate program. The students were to create a product that helps students on campus. Their first insights were seeing the amount of walking a student does, along with how often phones are used and often low on battery.
What Makes It Unique
The Sole Power Shoe Insoles work by movement. The more someone walks, the more energy that is created. The system takes this energy and chargers the energy power pack that is included with it. Once you’re done walking, it’s simple to unplug the power pack and connect it to your smart phone via USB. This gives two and a half hours of talk time for every one-hour of walking!
