Some possible Ideas for you to Consider
If you’re having a bit of trouble deciding what you’d like to do for the 4th and don’t have a ton of time to plan, here are some great ideas that may appeal to you.
Go Camping at an all Inclusive Campground Close to a Bog Festival – there are so many festivals and 4th of July celebrations all across the US. Choose one relatively close to home and go to an excellent campground that includes a lot of amenities like swimming, game rooms, bicycle rentals and more. Not only will you have a fabulous time watching the fireworks together, you will love relaxing and getting away from the hustle and bustle of your daily life.
Go on a 4th of July Cruise – If you have vacation money saved up and can afford it, why not take a 4th of July cruise with the family? Cruises can last anywhere from 4 to 8 days so depending on how much time and money you have, you can find a great and different thing to do this year on the 4th. Remember to do these things before you go on your cruise:
- 1. Make arrangements for your pets if you have any
- 2. Make packing lists so you don’t forget anything
- 3. Make arrangements to have mail stopped while you are gone
- 4. Research the areas the cruise will be stopping at so you can make some plans on what to do and see
- 5. Know of any extra costs associated with the cruise ahead of time
Taking care if these things will alleviate a lot of stress from your vacation and allow you to enjoy it thoroughly.
Have a Staycation – Do you know what awesome things your town does for the 4th of July? Many people forget to check the places they live, getting so used to the day to day that they forget their town or city may have some incredible activities that they have never heard of or tried. Even if you don’t leave town, with some planning and research (and a month is plenty of time for both) you can plan a staycation that will be fun AND relaxing.
