If it were not for the video — and the man having a lighter ready — I would have assumed this was an accidental discovery.
An unidentified fisherman literally lit the water beneath his feet on fire. The location was revealed to be from Belarus, and it is a must see. Everything about it seems pretty normal, until the water is lit on fire.
The thread is growing on Reddit and appears to be pretty legitimate.
One poster, Asmodeane, said that the men were joking that Belarus is not going to need Russian fuel reliance so long as their swamps keep lighting on fire. They added that the video was filmed at the Chornae (Black) Lake within the country.
Belarus is slightly smaller than the state of Kansas, for an American example. It is known for its bodies of water. It is estimated that the country has more than 10,000 lakes and rivers; most of which are glacial in origin.
There is not data on how many will light on fire.
