Great Smoky Mountains National Park Offering Year-Long Internship

Great Smoky Mountains National Park offers a one- to two-year-long paid internship as a Community Volunteer Ambassador. Park officials announced the job on their Instagram account today, describing the role as a full-time position supporting the park volunteers.

Great Smoky Mountains National Park is looking for an intern between the ages of 18 and 30 (if you are a veteran, up to age 35). Applicants must provide a resume, cover letter, and professional references, be legal residents of the United States, and be available to work 40 hours a week for the 48-week period. Paid time off is available.

The National Parks Service employs a diverse group of individuals representing a variety of backgrounds and demographics, and they do not tolerate any form of discrimination.
