A lot of areas get a wide variety of seasonal changes but that doesn’t stop us outdoorsy folk from heading outdoors. Some of the more extreme adventurers probably have 2-3 sleeping bags, tents, and accessories they use based on the weather. But we’re like you – 1. We don’t have the space to store all of that extra equipment and 2. That seems like it’s going to get mighty spendy. So we took the easy route (and in our opinion the best route), and got a Kelty Tumbler 30/50 Sleeping Bag. It’s the best of both worlds and can handle warm, and cool temperatures.
The rectangular Kelty Tumbler 30/50 sleeping bag has two lofts built in. The 50-degree side is perfect for warmer nights, and the 30-degree side works great for chilly nights. You may be asking yourself, well how does that work? Let us explain. The lofts are built in to opposite sides of the bag. So for the 50-degree loft you would lie on the 30-degree, and cover yourself up with the 50-degree side. Vice versa for those cold nights. We never turn down 2-for-1’s so this sleeping bag is perfect for us. Made with a cotton blend liner the bag is ultra comfortable, and with its external snaps allows you to secure it inside another rectangular sleeping bag for added warmth. So the moral of this whole story is there is a way to avoid waking up shivering in your tent, just get a Kelty Tumbler 30/50 Sleeping Bag.
