All winter long we anticipate the warm days of summer and the fun activities associated with it. Now that summer is in full swing, we are starting to dread the dog days of summer. Dog days occur July 3rd to August 11th when Sirius, the Dog Star, rises at the same time as the sun. Unbearably hot summer days can only mean the nights are awesome! This playlist is for these sultry dog days and awesome cool nights including 12 classic tracks with “Dog” and “Night” in the title. We included a bonus track from a hit single from 2012 just because the song is fun — pun intended. We hope you enjoy this playlist while you are coming up with new, creative ways of keeping cool.
