They have a new technical end here but in the old days people would do a simple loop end here to bind up the side of your glasses, more optical design. What they’ve actually decided to do here is this comes into us as a post and we actually over mold there so it’s much stronger, much more versatile and much more comfortable on the head.
Some other new items are the colors on the Orbitors. Chums had a lot of success with the Orbitor where it orbits off your head and super light weight and comfortable. They’re doing some new colors in reds, blues and greens.
Chums also has the Band. This has been around for a while and doing really well. Watch bands are making a comeback. Chums updated the line with new colors and designs, plaids and stripes and snowflakes and are actually doing some new tools with their PeriCord line.
Another product is the Baretooth survival tool featuring a wrench, a screwdriver, a bottle opener and a knife. It comes with 9 feet of Pericord and in the center of this piece is a small survival kit. It’s got foil, a flint, some kinder, fish hooks, fishing lines, safety pins, a needle, some floats and weights all packed into the center of this piece. It’s a good piece to stick into your backpack if you’re ever out in the woods and when you don’t want to use it it’s there for you.
Chums also has this great Chimney Fire Starter and again it comes packed with some tinder. It features a dual flint on a corrugated striker here so it really puts out a large amount of flame and really makes it easy to start the fire. It also comes with 10 feet of PeriCord that you can use if you ever got into a tight situation.
