Camping Myakka River State Park in West Florida
When Camping in Myakka River State Park, you have the choice of three different campgrounds with a total of 90 campsites. There are also six primitive campgrounds with three campsites each and three tent camping areas for youth. Each of the youth camping areas can accommodate up to ten people.

Amenities
The 90 full-facility campsites come with water hookup, electrical hookup, a fire ring, and picnic tables. Some of the sites also include a sewer hookup.
Things to do
Some of the activities that Myakka River State Park offers their guests include: bicycling, birding, fishing, kayaking, and canoeing. There are also a number of guided tours offered at the park. The park even has a special tram tour for individuals who would rather not “rough it”.

Admission Fee:
$6.00 per vehicle (2 to 8 people)
$4.00 per single occupant vehicle
$2.00 per pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers, or passengers in vehicle with Annual Individual Entrance Pass
$60.00 per tour bus (30 or more people)
$2.00 per person (tour bus fee for less than 30 people)
Camping Fees:
$26.00 per night (plus taxes)
Florida residents who are over the age of 65 years can qualify for a 50 percent discount. Proof of eligibility is required.
Primitive and Youth Camping:
$5.00 per person (primitive camping)
$1.00 per youth (youth camping)
$5.00 per adult/chaperone (youth camping)
Cabin Fees:
$70.00 per night (plus taxes)
Pavilion Rentals:
$40.00 per day for Lake and Clay Gully (up to 40 people)
$80.00 per day for South (up to 111 people) and Log (up to 60 people)
Other Fees:
$10.00 electrical adapter fee (can be picked up at ranger station)
